Our Services
Full-service exterior and interior craftsmanship for homes across Central Florida and the Tampa Bay area.
From screen enclosures to full remodels, every project below is handled in-house by your licensed general contractor — no middlemen, no subcontractors pulling the strings, just one team and one point of contact from start to finish.
AM Exterior is a State Certified Building Contractor (CBC1263331) based in Land O’Lakes and serving thirteen counties from Citrus and Marion down to Lee and Charlotte. The four categories below cover our full range — pool cages, screen enclosures, rescreening, patio covers, sunrooms, vinyl and James Hardie siding, paver patios, concrete, outdoor kitchens, bathroom and general remodeling, windows and doors, and light commercial work. Three of our most requested services have their own detailed pages:

Outdoor Living
Custom paver patios and driveways, concrete slabs, fire pits, full outdoor kitchens, and custom-built sunrooms designed to fit your home — not one-size-fits-all. Built to last through Tampa Bay summers.
Outdoor living covers everything between the back door and the property line. Most projects start with the surface: a paver patio or lanai extension over a properly compacted base, a concrete slab poured to carry a future enclosure, or a paver driveway that replaces cracked and stained concrete out front. From there we add shade and structure — insulated aluminum patio covers that turn a strip of shade into a usable room, and custom-framed sunrooms with proper roof ties, windows, and doors sized to the house rather than ordered from a catalog.
Outdoor kitchens and fire features round out the space. We build kitchen bases in block or steel framing, finish them in stone or stucco to match the home, and set granite or quartz counters around your grill, side burner, sink, and refrigerator. Every outdoor living project is designed around drainage, access, and the roofline so the finished space looks like it was always part of the home.

Vinyl & Hardie Siding
Professional vinyl and James Hardie fiber-cement siding installation. Hardie fiber-cement board carries a longer warranty and is the most popular siding choice today — boosting curb appeal, protecting your home, and cutting maintenance for decades.
Siding replacement is one of the highest-impact exterior projects a Florida home can get, and it is more than a cosmetic change. Every job begins with tear-off and an inspection of the sheathing beneath, because covering rot or termite damage only hides the problem. We repair what needs repairing, install a continuous weather barrier and flashing at every opening, and then hang the new cladding with the fastening, clearances, and caulking the manufacturer specifies.
James Hardie fiber cement is our most requested material because it resists moisture, insects, heat, and impact, holds paint far longer than wood, and carries a long manufacturer warranty. Vinyl remains a practical option for a different budget, and we install both along with matching trim, soffit, and fascia so the eaves stop leaking at the same time the walls get a new face.

Screen Enclosures & Pool Cages
New builds, rescreens, and repairs for pool cages, lanai enclosures, and window screens. Keep the bugs out and the Florida view in.
Screen enclosures are the signature of Florida outdoor living, and aluminum framing is what we started with. We build new pool cages in mansard, gable, and dome styles, engineered to the wind loads required for your address and anchored to a slab or footing that can carry them. Lanai and patio enclosures follow the same process at a smaller scale, and we can add doors, kick plates, gutters, and privacy panels where you need them.
If your existing frame is sound, a full rescreen is often the right call. We remove the old mesh and spline, replace any damaged fasteners, and install new screen in standard insect mesh, tighter no-see-um mesh, or heavier pet-resistant panels near doors and low sections. Window and door screens are handled the same way. All structural work is permitted and inspected under our State Certified Building Contractor license.

Bathroom & General Remodeling
Bathroom renovations and whole-home refreshes — the same craftsmanship indoors that we're known for outside.
Bathroom remodeling is the most common interior project we take on. A typical scope replaces a fiberglass tub-shower with a tiled walk-in shower, updates the vanity, counter, lighting, and ventilation, and addresses plumbing or subfloor issues that turn up once the old finishes come out. Because we are a licensed building contractor, structural changes, moved walls, and new openings are handled in-house rather than pieced out.
General remodeling extends the same approach to kitchens, flooring, interior trim, and whole-home refreshes. One point of contact manages the design, permits, scheduling, and finish work from the first walkthrough to the final inspection, and the written scope you approve is the scope that gets built.
