Manatee County is the southernmost county we serve, and it's the newest addition to our regular service area. AM Exterior has been building outdoor living projects, screen enclosures, pool cages, and siding installs across Central Florida and the Tampa Bay area since 2011, and demand from Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch homeowners has grown to the point that we now make the drive down regularly. It's a longer haul from our Land O’Lakes shop than a typical Pasco or Hillsborough job, so we're selective about which Manatee projects we take on — but for the right job, we'll be there.

Lakewood Ranch has driven most of that growth. It's one of the fastest-growing master-planned communities in the country, and like the Davenport and ChampionsGate corridor over in Polk, most Lakewood Ranch homes came standard with a modest covered lanai and a plain concrete slab out back. Owners quickly outgrow that setup, and our most-requested Manatee County work is exactly that gap: paver patio extensions past the original slab, larger aluminum patio covers, new screen rooms and pool cages built onto existing lanais, and full outdoor kitchens with stone bases and granite counters.

Bradenton, Palmetto, and Parrish round out the service area with a mix of older established neighborhoods and newer builds. Because Manatee sits right on the coast, we spec materials the same way we do in Pinellas — powder-coated aluminum, heavier-gauge fasteners, marine-grade screws, and storm-rated screen mesh — so the enclosures we build hold up through salt air and hurricane season instead of pitting and warping in a couple of years.
