Sarasota County is the southernmost county on our regular service map, and it's a natural extension of the Manatee work we've been doing for years. AM Exterior has been building outdoor living projects, screen enclosures, pool cages, and siding installs across Central Florida and the Tampa Bay area since 2011, and demand from Sarasota, Venice, and North Port homeowners has grown to the point where we now make the drive south regularly. It's a longer haul from our Land O’Lakes shop than a typical Pasco or Hillsborough job, so we're selective about which Sarasota projects we take on — but for the right job, we'll be there.

Coastal conditions drive most of what we build in Sarasota County. Salt air, humidity, and Gulf storms punish anything on the outside of a home, so we spec Sarasota jobs the same way we do in Pinellas and Manatee — powder-coated aluminum framing, heavier-gauge fasteners, marine-grade screws, and storm-rated screen mesh. Pool cage rebuilds and rescreens are the single most requested project here, especially after named storms roll through and bend cages or tear panels loose.

Sarasota, Venice, and Osprey lean heavily toward outdoor living upgrades — extended lanais, larger aluminum patio covers, and paver patio extensions past the original slab, often paired with new outdoor kitchens. Newer North Port subdivisions look a lot like Lakewood Ranch or the Davenport corridor in Polk: modest builder-grade lanais and plain concrete slabs that owners quickly outgrow. That's exactly the gap we fill.
